World Of Interiors - "Enriched By Rags" Commission

Illustration commission for World Of Interiors Magazine. The brief for this piece concerned past and future of the Indian kantha craft. A tradition where old saris and cloth gets layered with kantha stich to make anything from a light blanket, throw to a bedspread etc.This illustration aims to make a connection between thepast and present India, through the media of kantha.

The Drawbridge - "The Ego" Illustration Commission

The Drawbridge, "an independent quarterly of thought, wit and reflection", approached me to do a piece on the subject of the Ego. This illustration focuses in particular on the inner struggle one can have with ones egos.

Bike Topography

My entry for a poster competition by Traffic For London. The poster would act as an encouragement for tube-travelers to take to the London streets with their bikes. This map would reflect a bikers map of the capitol, and a sense of joy of exploration. Not necessarily correct but far more interesting than the map one assimilates from using the underground. Note: My house might be gleamed just on the bottom left corner of the left handle!

This design was later screenprinted and exhibited in the art and bike focused exhibition Artcrank. These prints are now available through my shop.

Online Fairy Tale

Probably one of the most brilliant projects I've ever had the pleasure to be a part of. Gabrielius Laiškas contacted me to ask if I wanted to contribute to an online fairy tale told by illustrators. The idea was that he would start the story off and then pass it on to an illustrator who would then elaborate on this story further with text and image, and then pass it on to another illustrator, and ten another and so on and so on. What you get in the end is a marvelously ridiculous and complex narrative. I often check in on this story to see how its going, and so should you.

Mindtonic - How To Successfully Gain An Internship

Mindtonic magazine commissioned me to create a flow map that would complement a guide to how to gain an internship. The average flow map can be a bit dry, so I decided to go the extra mile and make this one reflect the job-market at the moment, a bit of a jungle!
